We saw these windmills for a long stretch down I-70. We assume they are for power. There were no powerline anywhere in Kansas that we can recall. But we only ran across these in that one area. Anyone know what they are and why they use them here and not anywhere else?
These were all over the fields. We think they are to pump water for watering the fields.
Isn't this a cool information center for the city of Colby, KS?
